Our new full band album for 2008 is VaChaminuka / Me Pray to Yahshua.
About the album, VaChaminuka (Me pray to Yahshua)
VaChaminuka is an important Zimbabwean prophet, or Mhondoro (lion spirit). He is well known and respected throughout Zimbabwe, and most healers and spiritual people from each and every tribe know him and include him in their prayers. He was very powerful in healing, hunting, drumming, mbira, dancing, singing and was a fortune teller through powers of Yah (God). He even prophesied the coming of the white European people and things that took place following his death. VaChaminuka is a very old ancestor who was reborn to different people; the last person that most Zimbabweans know to be the last to be possessed by Chaminuka is Pasipamire. So in the song Vachaminuka, we are praying to VaChaminuka the spirit, not the late Pasipamire. The title of the album pays tribute to VaChaminuka and shows the traditional Zimbabwean spiritual and cultural roots of Zimbaremabwe and its founder Linos Wengara Magaya. The album contains both traditional Zimbabwean style songs and messages, alongside Mbira Reggae tunes which carry messages about Yahshua (the prophet mostly known as Jesus Christ). This is where the second title for the album, 'Me pray to Yahshua' comes through.
'Through my spiritual life, I never used to pray to Yahshua, but it was through my ancestral spirits of the Ngara, Zimuto (Nungu) tribe, particularly through my reborn spirit Manyame, who is the Lion spirit of my tribe, that I came to know that Yahshua (Jesus Christ) was a powerful spirit for this world. I don't approach Yahshua through churches or even the bible, but through dreams, visions and prayers. Through my ancestor Manyame, I dream messages about Yahshua which involves the world, where he says that he is the way to the future happy world. In my dreams, Yahshua doesn't agree with everything written in the bible. The first thing is that the name should not be changed. As his name includes the word Yah (God), changing his name is changing both the name Yah and the word shua. The word Jesus Christ doesn't bring Yah and shua together, but something else. For thousands of years people have been using the words Jesus Christ, which is very wrong.
To be looked after by Yahshua, you don't necesarrily need to know the whole bible, but you need to know Yahshua. Praying to Yahshua, you don't necesarrily need to close your eyes, but you need to open your heart and be faithful to him. Its not his body that is important, but his name Yahshua is the most important one, as this name was there before his body was born on this earth.
As we know from Zimbabwean spiritual knowledge, the name of an ancestor or spirit is so important, and it should never be changed. Yahshua was reborn to his name. His name Yahshua was given to him by Yah (God) before he was born and imparted to his mother Maria through a vision. Yahshua and Yah are names in the Hebrew language. Therefore we have to maintain Yahshua's name when we call his spirit. Calling Yahshua by the name Jesus Christ, or any other translation, is not the same, it is a substitute word, and it effects the prayer. According to my research through my ancestors, Father Yahshua is a spirit who is there for anyone who calls and prays to him with the correct name, and with the right kind of faith and respect for him, and his spirit will be there until the end of the world.
Others say that we shouldn't pray to both ancestors and to Yahshua (Jesus Christ), yet it is through my ancestors that I know Yahshua, and it is they that confirm that he is a high spirit who will always stay above. I believe that even people who have their own good ways of praying to Yah (God) should also include Yahshua in their spiritual life, as Yahshua is for the whole world and for all cultures.
Through my dreams, Yahshua tells me that he wants people to fulfill his accomplishments on this earth, those that he was sent to fulfill by Yah (God). He says that the fulfilling of his accomplishments is the way to the future, happy world, no matter where you come from. It doesn't matter wherever you are on this world, calling his name with the right faith is the most important thing out of your whole life. Calling his name Yahshua, includes calling Yah (God). The names Jesus, or God mean nothing to these above holy spirits. The names Jesus and God made people die in darkness. So many people willingly seeking Yahshua and Yah, who lived their lives calling Jesus Christ and God. Yahshua is the name written to every persons heart, you dont necesarrily need to know so much of the bible, you just need to know the name Yahshua, then you are blessed.
According to dreams, we believe that people of Yahshua make reasonable mistakes excluding blood, but through listening to our dreams that we pray for in the name of Yahshua we can always recorrect the mistakes we make, as we know that Yahshua can always forgive our hearts. The mistakes of Yahshua's people are always watched by Yahshua, and he is there to correct these mistakes. By listening to dreams, dont throw all your dreams to Yahshua. When you watch your dreams be very careful, as dreams are not all direct or connected to Yahshua, most are parables and proverbs. As Yahshua used to talk in parables and proverbs, dreams are also like that. Normally the dreams from Yahshua will stand clear on their own, they are usually very clean and clear, and different. Yahshua welcomes you to pray for the dreams that you dont understand, dont rush to answer them. Pray and open your heart and your armpits, be honest and ask Yahshua for guidance. Opening your armpits means that we should not hide any secrets, we should be totally honest and feel free to the prayer of Yahshua. That is where you are meant to tell all of your thoughts and wonders, whatever you feel in your mind. Yahshua is the guidance and he is the answer to all your wonderings.
Praying to Yahshua, you don't need to be around elecricity all the time, in houses and churches. Since this ancestor, Yahshua, was not around electricity but in a very natural world it is good for us to go into nature sometimes to pray. Take off your shoes sometimes and contact the earth as Yahshua would have done.
My ancestor says that because the world is bowing to Yahshua using the name Jesus Christ, they are calling a word only, not calling the real spirit of Yahshua. If people call his name correctly and with the correct faith and feeling, there will be prophets coming back in this world again, and people shall dream Yahshua properly. It is a painful thing to see so many poor people, particularly in Africa, but throughout the world, who are suffering and dying without the correct knowledge of Yahshua. They are so committed to their prayers yet they have been taught to call on Jesus Christ where they should be calling Yahshua. According to my dreams and visions, it is not so important to look too deeply into the bible, the important thing is to pray to Yahshua.
According to my dreams and visions Haille Selassie is also a powerful soul who is there for all black people. He stands for every black person who calls his name with the right faith and respect, regardless of which country they are from, so black people should pray from Haille Selassie to Yahshua. Haille Selassie was also praying to Yahshua until he died. I also never used to pray to Haille Selassie as I thought he was not of my tribe and he died quite recently, but he came into my dreams and showed that he was a powerful soul standing for black people. My ancestors would not allow him to come in this way to my life if he was not a powerful soul, so from those times I also began to pray to Haille Selassie, and find this really helpful.
Yahshua can rise in you. He is a powerful ancestor who is already connected to peoples hearts, and he is there for the world. Everyone should pray to their good spirits in the way that is right for them, but the spirit of Yahshua covers all and unites all the cultures across the world. Yahshua moves like sunshine during the daylight. As we only have one sunshine for the whole world, that's Yahshua. In the night time, in your dreams he can appear like the moon, and stars are the angels.
